First off, you will need to have sam open. Once open, there should be a window similar to this. To add the encoders window onto the page, on the bar at the top click window then on the drop down choose encoders:



After you have added the encoders window to you current page just drag it to where you would like it. Don't forget, you can resize it. Now on the encoder box, click the little + symbol as shown below:


On the next pop up window choose MP3 (Normal) as shown then hit ok :




On the next window set it as shown in the image then click server details as shown:



Once on the server details, change the information shown to the information you were provided with on the irc chat then hit ok and that's the encoder CREATED:



Once you have created the encoder to start broadcasting, all you have to do is highlight the encoder. You would like to start by clicking on it, then click the little play symbol as shown in the image. To stop the encoder, just hit the little stop symbol next to the play symbol:


 

 

To change the Voice Fx packets what you need to do is, turn the mic off as shown below or if the mic shows Mic off then click the config button just above the Mic on/Mic off buton as shown :


 

Once you have clicked the config button you will see a window as shown below. Please ensure your setting are set the same as shown changing the record soundcard device drop down to the mic you are using:

 


Now we need to set the packets. Please ensure they are set to the exact same as shown below. Once you have done this just hit ok then you a free to turn your mic on and use it:



As you can see from above, there is a lock talk button which means that when you click it locks so there is no need to hold the talk button while speaking. To unlock, you just have to click on it again.

 

 

When using bed's on SAM your best bet is to use Aux to add the Aux window to SAM goto the menu on the top click window then on the drop down select Aux1.When using Aux the best setting for bed's are shown below:



Rember to click the loop button as shown and set the volume as shown.
